Climbing up, I looked in all four directions. The fields were picturesque with hilly greenery. Annapurna, Manaslu, Lamjung, and Ganesh Himalayas were visible nearby, pristine and serene. Later I learned that a small peak had been named Harka Himal in honor and memory of geographer Harka Gurung. Further away, the Marshyangdi River was seen flowing. The houses of Ghalegaun appeared clustered together. I hadn’t been able to see the settlements of Bhujung all at once, but here, the entire settlement appeared reddish from above because most houses in Ghalegaun have red tin roofs. Enjoying the captivating view, I descended below.
